Our Background

Bridging British Education Virtual Academy (BBEVA) is affiliated with UK Double Wings International Ltd. The academy aims to provide high-quality, British-style education to students whose first language is not English.

Over the years, the company has helped children from families in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and many other places get into top independent schools in the UK.

 

The main office of BBEVA is in central London. We have already established a strong reputation through tutoring and other services.  Courses taught are based upon the UK National curriculum and fined tuned to meet the additional demands of independent school entry.

LANGUAGE & LITERATURE

Good language skills help children open doors to different cultures and  explore the world.

The courses are designed to develop children's use of English and many other languages.

STEM FOUNDATION

Through STEM education, students are able to consolidate knowledge and skills related to STEM subjects and integrate interdisciplinary knowledge and skills through practical solutions and innovative design to solve everyday problems.

HUMANITIES

The course aims to trigger children's curiosity about the world, the future as well as the past, and encourage them to formulate their own opinions about real-life phenomena.

ART LITERACY

Artistic literacy is the knowledge required to read and participate in the arts. We cultivate such ability and skills through courses in Colour & Contemporary Art, Design & Technology, and Music.

ONE-TO-ONE 
COURSES

One-to-one courses can be customised according to the need and interest of individual students, usually focusing on exam preparation or subject-specific practices.

Chris Davies

Headmaster

BBEVA’s headmaster, Chris Davies has enjoyed over 35 years first as a teacher and later a headmaster in British independent schools. He is the former Chairman of IAPS (Independent Association of Preparatory Schools), and head of the consulting department. He has also been an Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspector and a governor of a number of different independent schools for more than 15 years.

Peter Martin

Deputy Headmaster

Peter Martin is BBEVA's deputy headmaster and academic director. He has over forty years of teaching and management experience as headmaster of top secondary schools.
