Our Background

 Bridging British Education Virtual Academy (BBEVA) is affiliated with Double Wings International Ltd. The company was founded in Hong Kong in 2015, and started the programme Bridging British Education Virtual Academy (BBEVA) in London in 2018. The main business of Double Wings International Ltd. includes educational consultancy for candidates seeking to enter top British independent schools and offers tuition both in specific entry courses and interview techniques which in combination will help them to be successful.

Over the years, the company has helped children from families in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and many other places get into top primary and secondary independent schools in the UK.


The main office of BBEVA is in central London. It has already established a very strong reputation enabling many overseas candidates gain places at their first-choice school.  Courses taught are based upon the UK National curriculum and fined tuned to meet the additional demands of independent school entry. 



Double teacher class, that is, the classroom with two teachers: Live Teaching of famous teachers + offline tutoring of teaching assistants - two teachers cooperate with each other remotely to achieve the teaching effect of 1 + 1 > 2.


The syllabus of BBEVA’s Foundation English course is structured by phonics and vocabulary. The course is suitable for students from 3 to 6 years old, whose English level does not yet meet the requisite of the EAL courses.


The EAL (English as an Additional Language) course is a comprehensive English course offered in top UK independent primary and secondary schools. 

Humanities Courses

BBEVA's humanities courses are aimed at children aged 6-11. They are taught in accordance with the high standards of British private elementary school teaching through the integration of history, geography, and religion. .


The teaching and research team of the BBEVA has long been committed to improving the test-taking ability and performance of students of different ages. 


Chris Davies


BBEVA’s Headmaster is Chris Davies, who has enjoyed over 35 years as a teacher and Headmaster in UK Independent Schools. He was Head of IAPS (Independent Association of Preparatory Schools) Consulting, and former Chairman of IAPS. He has also been an Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspector and a governor of a number of different independent schools for more than 15 years.

Peter Martin

Deputy Headmaster

BBEVA’s deputy headmaster is Peter Martin, who has over forty years of teaching and management experience as headmaster of top secondary schools, is the Deputy Headmaster and the Academic Director.
